Why can’t a PNG reach very small KB sizes?
PNG is lossless: the browser’s encoder ignores quality settings, so the only way to shrink a PNG is to reduce its dimensions. For photos, converting to WebP or JPG compresses far more — which FitToKB does automatically when you set a small target.
